Late Sheik Muhammad Aslam (Founder and previous chairmen of Multan Hide Company) started business with his father Sheik Abdul Karim in 1945.

Late Sheik Muhammad Aslam was born in 1930 and he joined his father's business in 1945 at the age of 15 years. Mr. Aslam motivated his father to enter in raw hide business and his father accepted his proposal and established has raw shop in Multan at Lohari Gate, Name Multan Hide Company.

The Firm Multan Hide Company was incorporated in Oct. 1972 and initially started its work with Raw Hide and Skin Commission Shop, trade and supplies of Raw Hide to other tanneries.

From 1984 Multan Hide Co. (Pvt) Ltd. started its own tannery and gradually commissioned all sort of latest tanning machineries. Now Multan Hide Co. is equipped and modernized tannery. Multan Hide Co.(Pvr) Ltd. never borrowed loan on interest from any bank because Mr. Aslam always detested against interest. After a very short period of time it became the leading exporter of the region.

Multan Hide Company is processing and exporting 0.8 million sq. ft. to 1 million sq. ft. finished leather per month. The last four year export figures are given below.

The experience, appropriate decisions, good planning and determination of late Mr. Aslam ( Chairman ), has given his firm a distinctive place among the top most tanners & leather exporters of Pakistan. His business philosophy and logic revolves around the concept of client's complete satisfaction. Mr. Aslam also trained his children on the same pattern. These are main reasons that the company is progressive and also got special merit trophy for the year 1999-2000.

Sheikh Muhammad Aslam passed away on 10th Nov. 2002. All the relatives, friends, colleagues and his staff were really shocked and deeply grieved at sudden demise of their beloved chairman.

After the sad demise of Mr. Aslam, his son Sheikh Muhammad Usam took the chair and started the business on the line of his predecessors.
